After the great success of the two joint Burns Suppers hosted by Emmanuel in recent years, Elmers End Free Church, (Goddard Road, Beckenham) are hosting the 2012 event. This will take place on Saturday 28th January 6.45 for 7pm. Dress code is Black Tie, Lounge Suit or Highland Dress.

Tickets for the Supper are priced £12.50 per person; this includes a four course meal (please, bring your own drinks and glasses) plus the traditional      entertainment and dancing. As demand for tickets is expected to be high please apply early to avoid disappointment. Tickets at EEFC are available from Barbara Heppell (8249 1581) and at Emmanuel from Bill Bowman (8777 1150).

We have secured the services of a piper, Jim McCrombie (ex Pipe Major in the Scots Guards) and again Bruce Tannock will chair. Songs will be from Valerie Mackenzie and Bill Michie accompanied by Cath Brown. The ‘Address to the  Haggis’ will be delivered and ‘The Immortal Memory’ proposed by Bill Bowman. ‘The Toast to the Lassies’ and ‘The Response’ will be given by EEFC’s Nick and Jeanette Comfort.

Linda Henderson from Elmers End is in charge of catering so we are       assured of an excellent meal to go with the conviviality of the evening.
