At our Annual General Meeting in May we fondly remembered two of our regular supporters, Geoff Hibbert and Gerald Aylward who died during the Fellowship’s last year. The committee were happy to be re-elected for another year under the chairmanship of Kenneth Hotten and I gave a brief review of the Fellowship’s busy year.

After the A.G.M. Roy Castle showed us his excellent 50-minute video of the recent holiday that he and Audrey spent in South Africa. The wildlife shots were stunning as were the pictures of the young enthusiastic children that they met in the township. The evening was particularly special because so many of us had been on a similar trip to South Africa and experienced not only the sights of that wonderful country but also its history. Many thanks to Roy and Audrey for bringing it all back.

So now we look forward to our coming year starting in September and we welcome any thoughts that people might have regarding future speakers and subjects. We already have a number of suggestions and the committee will be trying to finalise the new programme over a glass of wine sometime in July.
